Well i thought that no one could out party than the japanese. Wow was i wrong. There is a culture here that stays out incredibly late. I went to a tango show with a girl from toronto who came here to study tango for her dancing school for 2 weeks. It was pretty amazing actually but there were senior citizens, senior, like 70 to 85 out at night, like 12am in the morning watching a tango show. On a weekend you´ll see seniors out to like 3 or 4 in the morning. So you can only imagine what the youth are like.
Ok so if you are partying in buenos aires you don´t start drinking until maybe 12:30. And you don´t go out to a club until 2 or 3. It´s crazy!! I went to two clubs friday and saturday night and our group went home earlier than most at the clubs. And i never got back to the hostel befor 7:30am. Its the most night driven society i have ever been to. People dont eat dinner until 9 or 10pm. On sundays though the city is very slow and quiet. Not much is open and people aren´t really out in the streets. It was a bit hard for me to adjust for buenas aires time and now going to have to re-adjust away from it as i leave today to go down south to patagonia to the city of Puerto madryn.
