After around a month in Whistler we woke and as I do everyday I looked out the window immediately just in the hope that we might have some snow.. To my amazement it was dumping massive flakes of snow in a dense flurry from above. It wasnt snowing when friends of mine were up at 7am and by 9.am when I woke up there was around 25cm to a foot of snow. When it snows here it really snows hard. I can see how it would only take a night of this kind of snowfall to engulf the village and mountains in perfect snow. I woke Ele and mentioned the snow, as soon as she looked out of the window herself, with a flash she was upstairs yelling and waking the house to inform them. The whole house were like kids on Christmas, we all went outside and ran around in our street, thowing snowballs and mucking about. It wasnt long until a few of the guys had made a park in the backyard and there were rails and boxes to hit.. It also wasnt long until a random guy from across the road had broken his arm. Not a good start to the season for him!
