Hello again!! So I am now in Laos, but that part can wait for another day, I will finish telling you all about Cambodia (well hopefully, depends on how much I can do in the rest of my hour!)

Today was a nice day, spent the day on the beach. Got hassled all day by people offering manicures, pedicures, fruit and bracelets. I got a couple of bracelets from a really sweet little boy. Don't know if they will make it home though. Worked on the tan, going nicely, in between going to the sea and reading (and being hassled).

Hired a scooter today. Just ended up riding around as the places we wanted to find, we couldn't! Got caught in a couple of torrential downpours-thank god for my poncho! Poor old Ell got soaked. Great weather to be out on a scooter in. Clipped a rock and then the thing sounded like it was going to fall apart. Got it back in one piece though, got a bit worried when the lady looked all around the bike but we got away with it, phew! Went to the 'cinema' in the evening and watched Yes Man, it was really funny.

Didn't do to much today. Went to the beach for a bit and then had a curry. The guesthouse had a St Patricks Day party and the beer was green, looked funny but tasted the same! I did get a picture for when I am able to upload some more.

Today we played mini golf, 18 holes. Well the nine hole course twice! And get this, I won!!! Whoop whoop! Didn't do much else all day (except bask in my golf glory lol. Went to the cinema in the evening again and watched The Wrestler and Pineapple Express. Both were strange. Managed to get away with only paying for one film...

Tried to hire a scooter again but couldn't as our passports were in Phnom Penh getting Thai visas. We now have a 2 month visa rather than getting a 15 day onethat we would have got if we crossed the land border. Watched Run Fat Boy Run in the dvd room of the guesthouse. (wow what a alot we have done in the last few days!!)

Today we haggled a moto to take us to Otres Beach. We tried to find it on our scooter day but had no luck. Had us two and the driver on one scooter. It was a really nice beach. Really quiet and the water was crystal clear-needless to say, I still managed to stand on something with spines and get a nice circle of small spine holes on my foot. Got the passports back with the Thai visas, a relief to get the passports back! Went to the cinema, yes again, and saw Taken. That was really good, although to close to home, girl goes travelling and gets taken.

7.10 bus this morning. Had to get the bus to Phonm Penh and then one to Siem Reap. Ended up being on the road for over 12 hours. Luckily it was both new buses, with plastic still on the seats. How boring today was, that was until I realised that a girl on the bus had a tarantula, oh my god!!!!! I had a little freak out and sat in shock for a bit as she casually walked past with it on her dress. Got to Siem Reap and then I had to follow her off the bus trying to keep my distance from her! Got a really nice room at Shadow of Angkor II, only opened in the last two weeks. 3 beds in the room, how spoilt we were!
As you can see up until then we hadn't really done anything for a while. Had to spend to long in Sihanoukville as we had to wait four days for the visa. There are worse places to be stuck though! Will try and update soon again.
