The Basilica Cistern from Justinian's time- 500 A.D. Takes up 9800 square meters and is still in use occasionally. Very impressive and cool....literally.
I think I must have been a Muslim in a previous life. The art, architecture, and written Arabic are so beautiful. Looks like a great place to spend a birthday, Tomie. I see by the time stamp that for you that day is over. I am still celebrating YOU here.
