Why some might ask!

So it’s my last night before leaving for Australia for a month and yes, I'm very excited to be finally going. Some people have asked why, aren’t you worried, are you really going to do the cage dive and why now? Well, since I've been "semi-retired" and have been bored out of my fricken mind for the last 11 months and in the last couple months I've had some things happen around me that made me decide "A person should take the time to see and do the things they have always wanted to before on day you're sitting there saying or wishing you had done them." So now is that time and after working my "A$$" off for the last 15 yrs in Corp American and then to get as biggest shaft as I did last year. I've always wanted to "explorer" Australia since I was a little boy and my parents took me to see "The Man From Snowy River" (great family movie) and then after I became such a big water sport person (no dirty perverted minds with that one sickos) and how much I love the ocean. I've been on the second largest reef in the world and now I will have the chance to see the largest reef in the world. Guess next question is why the h3ll do I want to do a cage dive with great white sharks? Well, only reason I ever got certified to dive was to see a shark in its own environment. I am very excited to not only get to surface dive with them but also go under water to 60ft below and see how they live. I hope that anyone following my trip will be entertained, excited, inspired and enjoy what each of you will get to see through my eyes. I am pretty much fully scheduled for the first 5 days when I get to Sydney. Which I hope includes a chance to dive in the aquarium with sharks there also. Well I should end this one and finish getting everything ready. Hope to hear comments from you and talk to everyone soon. I will make another post where you can read about the cities I will be at.
