Coatzacoalcos (Veracruz, Mexico). We ended our 2000 kilometre journey by returning back up to the Gulf of Mexico after a challenging drive through the mountains of Oaxaca. It was so comforting to feel pavement beneath us again and feel the fresh breeze coming from the Gulf. This was a striking moment that made me forget all about our seatbelt rules in Canada.
