    Pilgrims have been walking the Camino de Santiago for centuries, for religious, spiritual and personal reasons. The path of enlightenment and a sense of clarity in daily life is something that many aim to be rewarded with after their journey. by: rohanjware Views[163] A purpose of the journey was to escape the chaos and rushes of daily city living. Your single focus each day is to walk from point A to point B. I don’t think we ever get this experience and time to reflect in our normal lives. by: rohanjware Views[157] The End of the Earth: Many people say the answers you seek don’t come immediately but after you have let the mud settle. Cape Finisterre is a great place to reflect upon your experience. The Romans once stood here with the thought that if you sailed straight out to see you would fall off the face of the earth. by: rohanjware Views[149] Along the way I was looking to discover the Spanish landscape, experience their way of life and interact with locals. Although the language barrier prevented us from conversing, this man was more than happy for me to take his photograph. I continually wonder who the second seat belonged to. by: rohanjware Views[133] Although I am not religious the significance of the iron cross still had a considerable impact on me. It is common for pilgrims to carry a rock to represent their burdens or sins. Placing the rock at the base of the cross symbolises the letting go of these burdens. by: rohanjware Views[246]
