This experience was a complete stroke of luck. With scant details of what she was taking me to see, my Mongolian pen pal, Oyunaa, took me and my two mates to a training camp a few hours outside of the capital Ulaan Bataar.
This image captured the coaches last pep talk to the best wrestlers from the strongest province before the national Naadam festival which was only a few days away. They were all happy, excited and silent.
We later huddled around a small black and white TV, drank warm Korean beer and cheered them on from the middle of nowhere (Ikh-Uul).
