While pollution remains a problem, luckily a group of dedicated engineers have a devised a system of mooring that minimizes the damage caused by ropes pulling up marine vegetation - and unsuspecting seadragons. by: richardwylie Views[441] Seadragans are very shy and secretive animals - rarely allowing close views. by: richardwylie Views[469] Male and female weedy seadragons perform an intricate and beautiful dance which concludes with the male seadragon carrying the fertilised eggs for almost 8 weeks after which the babies hatch fully formed. by: richardwylie Views[415] Weedy Seadragon under Flinders Pier (Victoria, Australia) in the afternoon light.
