Without access to modern technology, Nepalese children still find joy in simpler pastimes such as chasing pidgeons in the local durbar square after school.

Having renounced material possesions, Sadhus live a life of spirituality and can often be found meditating in temples and caves around Nepal and India, on their journey to be closer to the divine.

Rates of poverty have been decreasing over the years and one of the reasons is because of tourists - such as this one in Kathmandhu's durbar square - who have become a vital source of income to the country, bringing in a constant cashflow to otherwise impoverished Nepalese.
