My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I have had a soft spot for the art of photography ever since I purchased my first digicam a decade ago. I always felt there was more than one way to take a picture of the same object or place, each time with a different perspective and a different story to be related by the picture taken. But it was in the past two years or so that I started to fall in love with photography, to forge a romantic relationship with the art of immortalising momentous scenes. Notwithstanding my very demanding job, my passion for photography never mellowed; instead, it inveterately grew more robust. I am always thrilled to bits to see that each new excursion I take with my camera on me produces an even better collection of pictures than before: better in the sense of better focus, or better resolution, or better light manipulation, better story-telling, or simply better in an abstruse sense that I cannot put into words. I am as keen as mustard to keep on brushing up on my photography skills, and I aspire to become a high-flyer in the world of professional photography some day. I really cannot be more tantalized than I now am by the prospect of a photography scholarship with a high-profile photographer.
