On to Dubai and Casablanca

After our shaky visit in Singapore we boarded Emirates once again- great airline- hot towels, great menu, lovely staff, excellent entertainment system etc etc... Altho plane nearly full so couldn't spread out we arrived in Dubai for stopover. Long wide buses pick u up from aircraft and drive u to terminal! takes about 10minute drive . Very impressive new terminal- pity all the bodies in robes aren't as clean! Quite wiffy! Another full plane- this time lots of men in robes and headgear - some ultra clean & white others the opposite.8 hrs on landed in Casablanca. Get to customs to be told we needed 'health stamp' back thru the terminal- after much confusion from us and them we were asked if we were sick? So we got stamped and back in the queues again. A traveller from Dubai said lucky we didn't have to 'buy' the stamp, as a bribe. Anyway there are stickers saying Smile you are in Casablanca.Had transfer arranged as did couple from Auckland and Sydney who are in same hotel-3 star- clean but basic but very central. Walked to the old medina then had The a la Menthe (mint tea) in French style cafe. Cafes full of males because no alclohol- great people watching session was had.
