So, tonight I leave. Feeling pretty nervous now, and not really that excited yet, hopefully that will set in when I'm at the airport. This will be the longest I've been away from home, and I think I'm definitely going to miss my friends and family. The flight is going to be long, and I'm not really looking forward to it, except for the fact that it's going to take me to the USA.
So for those actually reading this, and that don't know what I'm doing in the USA, here's a quick recap. Start off with 5 days in LA, then get our campervan (or RV, I'm going to have to start to use American terms, or I'm going to get some very weird/blank looks) and drive up to San Fran. A couple of days there, then across the country to NY. A week in NY then down we go to Miami, for a few days. Through the southern states, which I've heard many stories about to... Vegas (baby). In Vegas, we will spend 5 nights, trying to get the casinos to pay for our trip (haha). Then after a lovely early morning drive to LA, we have one last night in the USA. Which we will spend watching Muse, Rise Against, and Rage Against the Machine (plus some others), then for the sad and longer flight back to Australia.
And that's it. Still have to pack. This afternoon is probably going to drag on, but o well.
The next time I write here, if I bother to continue doing this, I will be in the USA, just saying :).
Peace.
