Dilemma! Packing or reading a book? Hmm. Mum just bought this great book by Jo Dispenza called Evolving your Brain. I’ve only got 24 hours to finish it and it’s a big read so do I pack or do I read? As for Lima airport where I plan to wait one night in transit (waiting for my plane to Ecuador) rather than find a hotel (I get in late and leave early and Sivlia, my step-mum who is from Peru, advised that it probably isn’t worth braving the dodgy taxis, getting through the dodgy slums and battling the dodgy traffic to get a few hours sleep…) – don’t worry, I have 2 books to get me through the night! For anyone interested, (you can tell I’m procrastinating from packing here…) the first book is called The No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency a story set in Botswana… written by Alexander McCall Smith and the second book is called While I Live by John Marsden (for all you Tomorrow When the War Began fans)… a bit of Australian teenage literature to make me homesick!
Great news! I have found a superior origami jumping frog website: http://www.froggyville.com/origami.htm so I hope to see great results from you all when I get back. They are fun to race and it's something great to do while on a teleconference at wor - I mean whilst during a power black-out at home.
Alright... back to packing... (but it's so hard!) ...
Cheers... Mezzzzz
(In typical mother style, mum came up with a 'great' abbreviation for my travelling name Pistachio Tumbleweed - which I have to thank my email-pal in England, Tim, for giving me - she calls me Pissweed. Hmph! Where is the mother-daughter respect these days??)
