I turn 25th today – 16th July and it
takes me a minute or two just to get my head round where I am and that is my
birthday here. If you had asked me if I was doing anything for my birthday 2
months ago I would have said a meal out with family and Gobey if he is here.
Not in a week of Sunday’s would I be thinking I would be on top of a mountain
in Papua with Gobey. But that will stop us having a nice steak meal with our
new friends who live upstairs from us.
I got a few cards today, a candle set from Chandra and
Dustin, an indoor garden from Ina and Piet and no birthday would be complete
without chocolates from Sandra. All my birthday cards from home haven’t turned
up yet but at least when they do it will be like another birthdayJ.
