My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Being a college student who is insanely passionate about travel and photography, I especially prefer remote places where tourist seldom goes.
From my perspective, travel and photography are linked together. While travel assists us in knowing more about the world and ourselves, photography records what we saw and what we hope the world could see. Pictures reveal not only the perspective of the shooter but also the strong passion of one.
I love to roam around aimlessly and encounter things unexpectedly. Courage and Curiosity never fails to prompt me into going to a new adventure. Sometimes, it is travel that propels me to take pictures; yet, sometimes it is the aspiration of taking scenic picture that drives me to travel more profoundly.
I learn photography by books, the internet and hands-on practice. It is one of my interests to go to art galleries, which helps me a lot with my aesthetic attainments. Yet, never have I get professional training. I hope I may have the chance to be taught by Jason to polish my skills! Besides, it had always been my dream to travel to the arctic region. This scholarship really offers me a great opportunity to travel to Greenland!
