This vehicle is what some residents there do for a living. A tricycle with a large rusty basket behind can load heavy recyclable wastes which can later be exchanged to cash. Every morning, they ride around the corner of the city to collect recyclable wastes. The more they get, the more income they earn.

However, some of the residents refused to move out of the community and kept on living in the now chaotic community. This is Mr.Chen who insisted to live in his house. On the right side was a poster full of blessings to Mr.Chen by some students who thought that the whole renovation project was injustice.

The cart was then
loaded with heavy recyclable waste. Debris and broken furniture scattered everywhere in the area. There were graffiti on the metal door and the roof is collapsed. With the Calendar on the door indicating the wrong date, it seemed like the time was frozen in the zone. It's hard to believe that just a few steps away from here was the heart of Taipei.
