This is where the tigers are brought to everday between 1-430 in the afternoon for their apparent 'exercise'. Unfortunately it seemed apparent that the tigers had been heavily sedated. As you can see from the following photos it seems unrealistic for people to get naturally close to animals of this size (and of this nature ! ) and for there to be no concern about peoples safety. The monastery began by taking in one orphaned tiger after its mother had been shot by poachers . Unfortunately it seems the monastery now makes a lot of money by charging travellers and tourists to visit the temple and get up close and personal with the number of tigers they have now taken into their care. There were about 8 or so different tigers of different ages that in this area within the monastery.
