Trip to Kaikora

Aah, the sun's setting. Nice.

Aah, the sun's setting. Nice.

We've taken a couple of days out from the job/home search in Christchurch to visit a beautiful little seaside town called Kaikoura.

There are loads of residential marine mammals in Kaikoura, because the sea surrounding it is so rich in food, and there's an underwater shelf about 100ft deep not far from the shore, so it's a brilliant whale and dolphin spotting place.

It's pretty nice to be away from the city to enjoy the countryside because that was the main reason for coming here, and so far we've done nothing but hike around Christchurch looking for work.

There are a few pics of Kaikoura for you all to see. Hope you enjoy them!

Fabulous pictures. Have a great time in NZ. The right job is bound to come along. We had fabulous time in Cornwall visited the lost gardens of Heligon.

All our love
