My Scholarship entry - Learning from simplicity.

I've always been passionate about all types of communication: images, words, languages, music; anything that could be turned into something bigger. I've graduated in Graphic Design in Brazil and worked for several years as an Art Director, where I would picture my professional life… well, at least until the moment I decided to change my perspective and challenge myself around Asia with almost no money.
It was not about leaving my country and going for an adventure; it was about leaving my habits behind and stepping out of the bubble in which I lived. I ended up spending almost two years traveling from India to China exploring the new essence I found inside me. I was so involved with all those mixed senses that, suddenly, I couldn't find any other way of communicating other than that old passion of mine: Photography was the global language I've always searched for.
After this life-changing experience, I decided to leave my job in order to dedicate myself to a new career, and that was when I came across this very unique assignment with Jason. This is what I consider to be the perfect way of learning and I am happy just to dream about having such an amazing photographer as a mentor.
