The story behind this recipe
I was visiting for the first time Japan, and my Japanese wasn't(and still isn't) as good. I got lost exploring the back alleys of a Tokyo district when I notice this little restaurant on the corner on the street with the vending machine outside, so you can pay and select you dish in the vending machine.

So, seeing as it was getting late and I was getting more hungry I just clicked at the one that I thought had the most bang for my buck.

Imagine my surprise when the delicious looking thing came to me, along with a plate of hot soba. One bite and I fell in love with it.
