Easter Sunday was like a breath of fresh air for ua. We attended a Wesleyan Church not far from our hotel which began with a time of praise and worship. We knew all the songs! Then the main body of the service was like an Anglican one. The people were friendly and mostly wealthy :(. We relaxed back at the hotel for the arvo then treated ourselves to a movie. We were hoping for a real Bollywood blockbuster, instead it was a gentle story of an Indian lady marrying and moving to the US, adapting to the 'coldness' of a Western country away from her family. Helped us understand how the Indians view family. After the movie we bought tea from a laneway cafe called Bademiya. An amazing experience. People fill up the lane waiting for their meal, a waiter(there about 17 in all) comes and takes your order, then goes back to the stall (only as big maybe a bit bigger than the cycling clubs canteen) collects your meal and brings it back to you. There's two men sitting on the other side of the lane doing the dishes and some tables are set up in an empty shell of a place. food was good!

Monday we  caught a taxi to Mumbai Central but the driver managed to convince us we needed a tour of North Mumbai and as our train was not till 8:30 pm we took him up on his offer, visiting Juhu Beach, a Hindu Temple, a very fancy air conditioned department store - one to one service (for which our taxi driver received a voucher towards a watch), and the dhobi ghats (see photos). Boarded the overnight train to Jamnagar. Very comfortable and quiet in two tier a/c sleeper.
