Before we left on our trip, we knew we had certain limitations. Number one being we were travelling in a non 4WD vehicle, so no crazy dirt tracks for us. Number two was travelling with a doggy ie. No National Parks. Number three – funds. But that’s everyone’s dilemma, isn’t it?
After toying with the idea of sending Vic on a holiday to the east coast without us, we realised there was no way we could handle being dog-less, so we chose a road previously travelled by us and loved by us to head home on – The Eyre Highway, the Nullarbor.
So it was with great sadness that we had goodbye coffees on the bus and I left my bestie, Eileen, (sniff sniff – I was kind of brave) with promises to catch up in October on the proper side of Australia.
