Looking out to sea across the Hauraki Gulf from Northhead we see the sun rising behind Rangitoto Island, another New Zealand icon. During World War 2, a Japanese submarine was seen travelling past Rangitoto and heading into the harbour, luckily to no effect however. Shot at F9, shutter speed 1/80sec. I.S.O 100 with a Focal length of 21mm
