5 years as a teacher, my life consists of learning new things to teach and inspire my students. I thought it was my passion and yearning for my life but once I stepped behind my camera for the first time I discovered a little flutter of excitement and exhilaration in my heart. It was a feeling and a desire I have not experienced before.

I have grown up travelling to new places and I love to absorb and experience each new place and take memories with me through my photographs. My love and delight is to capture unique moments through different perspectives and to photograph images that might normally go unseen and expose them to the world. My eyes are always searching for new things to see and appreciate.

I believe that photos have the potential to tell meaningful stories that words can’t express and I would love to learn how to create those moments to share.

I long to one day be the student again and to work alongside a professional and learn how to take photographs to capture the amazing world we live in to share with others. I believe this scholarship would fuel my fiery passion about photography and it would be an honour to learn new skills to transform my photography.
