Closure. The gateway of this cottage is up the front stairs. Once they were tread upon with a flow of traffic carrying different purposes; news, stories, worries and concerns. Today the gates are closed and their time is over. As for the stairs, the flowers and weeds shine through the cracks seeking out sunlight. When will they support others once more?

The art of conversation.
Sitting on the front porch of an old country cottage, these chairs have weathered all conditions, from hot days to freezing nights, from torrential rain to gale storm winds. And yet the chairs remain ready to play host to many more bodies. Allowing them to sit and contemplate, to discuss ideas and observe the world around them. What could these chairs tells us of the many conversations they have listened to over time? What stories and secrets do they hold? What have they learned over the years? What does the future hold for them?

Persistence.
This cattle fence served as a boundary for all its life, strong and resistant to the elements. After many years, it still stands fulfilling its purpose. In some parts the timber is frail, but as a whole it still resists the suffocating weeds clawing onto it for stability. Its raw unkempt splendor humbles.
