I am an average mom, wife and at the moment, a home maker. I love travelling, however due to various commitments, I have been unable to travel as much as I would like to. In short, I am an ordinary person with an ordinary life. My ordinary life is made extraordinary by the things I enjoy most – Family, travel, photography and sampling food from across the globe.
Growing up, our family travelled all over India, owing to my dad’s job. In the course of the first 20 years of my life, I had seen more of the beautiful country than many of my contemporaries will get to see in their life time.
In the last decade I have lived in Dubai and visited Abu Dhabi, Umm Al Qwain, Ras Al Khaima, Al Ain, Thailand and revisited Kerala. I recently migrated to Canada. I have a store of memories that are sometimes lost in day to day life, with only photographs to remind me of the great times we had.
With this scholorship, I would love to learn the art of storytelling through photographs, the techniques that set a great photographer apart from a mediocre one. I would like to know what I am doing right and what I can improve. Most of all I would love the opportunity to live my dream!
