so we went to mexico city (commonly referred to as df) partially for tal's birthday and partially for a wedding of a friend's cousin. it was amazingly fun. we got picked up from puebla by martiza's dad and a trip that should normally take 2 hours took abouttttttttt 7. we did so many "vueltas" (u-turns). hahah it was quite the adventure. first we had 8 people in the car then a normal amount and then 6 again. not the most comfortable. the rest of the trip we were given a chauffer. i dont know how that happens but we are some lucky ducks. anyways the first day we met up with some friends that we met in acapulco who live in df. they took us out and we had a great time. we all went back to ternura's brother's apartment (which is where we were staying) and hung out for some time. then we slept cause tomorrow we went to the wedding. the wedding was great! we watched, we ate, we danced. it was super fun. we were leading the lines of dancing and playing with the children like we were part of the family. after we met up with ternura's brother again and hung out with him and his girlfriend and their friends who were all so so cool.
we all slept for a few hours and the next day went to xochimilco and went on this boat where people on other boats come up to you and sell food and things. it was super relaxing and a great end to a great trip. the company, the places, the food - it was all real awesome. anyways, now im back in puebla and realizing there is 1 month of classes left and freaking out. i never want this to end.
