    Brisbane, Aust: The Treasury Building, completed in 1928, has now been converted to a casino in 1995. Each phase of construction (there were 3 phases) uses a different type of sandstone. The red flood lights surround the building highlighting it against the rest of the city. Or are they using the psychology of colour to get you to enter or leave the building 'in the red' (in debt) by: newhome Views[298] Brisbane, Aust: Wheel of Brisbane providing great views of the night skyline. At 60 metres high it provides a great panorama of the Brisbane skyline. I will have to take a ride at night to see as I have seen it during the day. The movement of the wheel can provide possible excitement or the ride or nausea for those scared of heights. by: newhome Views[401] Brisbane, Aust: Flowing traffic of cars and buses between Brisbane and Southbank cultural hub looking towards the city and the Treasury building. It was a quite night as the State of Origin rugby league game between Queensland and New South Wales was occurring at the time (QLD won to level the series 1-1) by: newhome Views[309] Brisbane, Aust: While waiting for the traffic lights to change as I continued home, I noticed the external lights of QPAC and realised that they mirror the internal seating layout. The taller lights matched the balconies and stalls which flowed down towards the stage. by: newhome Views[390] Brisbane, Aust: After attending a seminar and heading home I was struck by the design symmetry and thought involved for the hall dividers in the Exhibition Centre. Without looking up you are able to see all the entrances for the halls plus other required information. I was amazed at the depth of thought that was put into the design to improve the experience for people attending any exhibits. by: newhome Views[196]
