Beggar Blindness - Many people now don't notice beggars. 'How many beggars can you give to?' is the question. A bigger problem is that 'Begging' is somewhat an organised crime in India. The women and children are put out on streets because they evoke more sympathy from people. At the end of the day, their money gets taken ways buy their 'organisers'. I always say to the ones I meet-

I always say to the ones I meet- "You have limbs that function, Work don't beg." This photo was taken from a bus, while I was returning to my hostel.
