Travel has the power to change and alter perceptions. I know mine did and I want to convey the same stories that affected me to others. I can relate to the rush of seeing a new landscape, understanding another culture, communicating with someone from far way. I want to create images that will bring the viewer the same joy. I enjoy being on the field immensely and I can see myself photographing even in the years to come. But at this point, I really do not know how to proceed if I intend to make a career out of photography and telling stories. I want to experience how work is done on field, learn from masters and craft a path for myself. I am eager to practice the art and learn more.

I have come to realize that it is a beautiful world. Without the knowledge of what is at stake, no one would care enough to do something about the quickly disappearing ecosystems or cultures. In the end I am just a traveler and an aspiring story-teller. I want to be a photographer whose images can evoke a sense of beauty and wonder about the world that we live in. Being a self taught photographer, it’ll be wonderful if I get an opportunity learn from someone as accomplished as Jason.
