On occasion I am introduced as “the photographer,” yet chastise myself for taking liberties with the title. I love & revere all aspects of photography, even editing. I am a designer, & as a result, I’ve allowed some of my technical abilities to lax. My profession relies on software, but my passion shouldn’t. When I’m not working, I take on small family or newborn shoots for friends & referrals. I’ve no lack of work or responsibility, but I’ll always make time to get out & shoot. I’m an artist & creator at heart. I love making images. There’s something wonderful about having a camera in your hand & knowing that you can control everything about preserving that one perfect moment forever. Recently I hiked the Napoli Coast. It's a sight to behold, & I photographed the hell out of it. I could show you sunsets, landscapes, & portraits, but instead I’m going to share with you a project I began earlier this year about human perception and the way we judge and see. I want to take this local project to a new level. I love experiencing new people, perspectives and cultures. The existence and possibility of this incredible learning opportunity is beyond exciting & I’m up for the challenge.
