    Over 4 million people use the New York City subway each day, so it wasn't uncommon to see people commute by themselves. In this particular photo I found a singular person waiting for the train next to a double three to be odd. This was the only time someone waiting for the train by themself seemed strange, as if he should have been accompanied by someone to complement the number. by: mozase Views[141] Among the numerous museums in the city, all of which were extremely busy, coming across a room which wasn't full was rather rare. In an almost empty room seeing this old, who was one the museum's employees, left me with so many questions. How long had he worked there? Which were his favourite artworks? by: mozase Views[218] Along the Highline, which is an urban garden built on the former elevated railroad, there are numerous seating areas where people come to enjoy a quiet lunch, or just relax in the summer sun. There was something about the way this lady blended in so perfectly where she was sitting. by: mozase Views[171] There are public pianos scattered across New York City most of which were being abused by children or just being used as a photo scene for tourists. I stumbled across a homeless man who was playing a beautiful piece of classical music as brilliantly as a concert pianist. by: mozase Views[183] I hardly ever have people as the main subject in my photographs, but there was a certain sense of mystery around strangers who were by themselves. I was at a rather crowded Central Park when I saw this girl sitting in a fenced off grass area, secluded from the busy city in a setting that seemed so serene. by: mozase Views[172]
