Hello everyone, sorry it has been a while. ok so had a fantastic time in Bercelona, definitely one of my favorite cities i have been to yet. it is a big city but feels managable and laid back. ended the stay with going to the beach for the day and swimming, which makes me slightly jeolous of places with warm water and also makes me want to kayak! it was overall a wonderful place and Jace was an awesome host.
Overnight train back south to Malaga and then stright to El Chorro, a very small town in one of the climbing meccas of spain. beautiful limestone walls, makes me want to plan a climbing only vacation back here at some point. also home to this crazy pathway called the Camino del Reys that is built right in to the wall of a narrow canyon some 100 meters up (look it up on google and also youtube, its crazy! closed now for safety unless you have the proper climbing equitment which i did not, but want to walk/climb it when i return))I hiked for a day and stayed at a really cool hostel/campground run by a swiss climbing couple.
After days headed back to Malaga, spent a very windy morning exploring the city and Alcazaba and then met up with Natalie again. we headed for Sevilla where we are right now. Only three days left in spain and then on to morocco which i am getting really excited about! Time is flying, hope it is for you too mum. will try to post some pictures soon. the little rain and wind we have had for the last two days reminds me of home, i bet fall is beautiful!
