My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

The locals.

A few metres off shore is a long stretch of coral wall covered in colourful corals of differents shapes and sizes. Long blue tubes that spat out warm water, large flat corals with tufts of bright orange and green sea anemone where tropical fish would hide and occassionally peek out when their curiosity got the better of them. But the most amazing thing I saw were the sea turtles. These grand old creatures sitting amongst the coral wall or swimming out to the open waters; sort of like the birds of the sea as they slowly flap their limbs. All this only a few metres off the shore.
