The ongoing militancy and daily clashes in Kashmir have made lives of local people very tough and cut the employment to nil. So, Kashmiris now have to migrate to other parts of India in search of odd jobs. Some bring with them woollen items and dry fruits and sell them in small towns and others, who don't have anything to offer, just resort to plain hard labour.
