The caretaker - A boy keeps for his father's workshop in the absence of his father. Despite strict child labour laws, it is very common seeing children helping out in their family business, working into shops, doing daily wage jobs like waiting tables, doing dishes, selling cheap items etc. to support their families. Education takes a back seat when survival is on stake!

It's a dog's life - A street dog sleeps on the divider of an Old Delhi street. The scene is symbolic of people's apathy towards stray animals. Street dogs have a life of loneliness and hardships, have to beg and fight for food, are traumatized by frequent fights amongst them, heavy traffic and people's often cruel and harsh behaviour. Most of them are scarred for life.

Smiles and hope - A group of Kashmiri migrant workers smiles at the camera. The ongoing militancy and daily clashes in Kashmir have made lives of local people very tough and cut the employment to nil. So, Kashmiris now have to migrate to other parts of India in search of odd jobs. Some bring with them woollen items and dry fruits and sell them in small towns and others, who don't have anything to offer, just resort to plain hard labour. With the hope that one day their homeland shall be peaceful and they shall return...
