Farewell Athens for now

Kay here

Having the most amazing time.  Bill and I have been around the Peloponnese and up as far as Metorea (think thats how it's spelt).  Great group on bus - Italians, Aussies and NZers.  Now with Fi and Mick and heading to Santorini tomorrow.  We've had a great couple of days in Athens seeing the sights, eating the amazing food and drinking far too much! Fi and I found a great fruit/veg/meat market this morning and shopped for lunch.  Fi is becoming bilingual (at least 15 words a day) and testing it out on the locals. I'm being referred to as Mama!  It's such a hoot.  Off to Santorini tomorrow early for 4 days.  Looking forward to some slightly cooler weather and perhaps no fire haze.  A big hello to Kath and Ra Ra - you guys would love this. RR have met some amazing people on our way around and I can just see you here.
