Good morning from the opulence of the Hotel Promenda in Kota Kinabalu where two cups of tea or coffee would cost the same as an entire days food and drink last week. You can imagine I've just been one block away and paid local price for my teh tarik and quen (a breakfast snack).
Net keeps dropping out. I've paid everything from $NZ 40 cents per hour to $NZ20/hour and here its $4/ hour.
Today we are off to a (basic?) lodge near Mt Kinabalu. Thanks for mentioning Lyn and S they are the ones who adopted me at the show when the old camera was phut. so many kind people every day.
