Some interesting flora

MALAYSIA | Friday, 18 November 2011 | Views [216]

Yesterday, my final day in Singapore, again a day of total contrasts.  Once more up at 5.30am and I went back  about 6.30 to the Chinese tombstones about 300m away tucked into the hillside in lush bush.  I took some very evocative images in the early morning light.

After breakfast and pack confirmed at now 14.3kg, I walked to the show venue. About 30 mins strolling. I bought a 'fresh mixed juice' for $2 - two chunks of pineapple, and whole apple a whole lemon, corn sugar syrup and wizz wizz.  Yum.

I haven't been sick in the least after my first day.  However my gut flora has obviously welcomed some new exotic strains.  Yesterday was the day resonating with deeply satisfying burps. Today, I could rival Eddy in starting earthquakes.

At the show venue, among the crowds waiting for our coaches for this mornings tour, lovely to see the American couple I sat with at the banquet, and to be honest I think she was equally delighted to see me.  But, they were on a different tour.

Thus, another story starts.
