How was English Kathie?
Have only 15 mins left on this as checked in for tomorrow online. Tomorrow I will sleep in KotaKinabalu, 2 1/2 hour flight to the north, late arrival, so don't expect to hear from me. I'll put that on the map below.
BTW I'm NOT going into business. Both sides checked things out overnight and turns out the minimum order is 40 flasks. Would have to cover the swimming area and leave work for that!
Sad that the conference is over it was really hard to walk out of the show the final time. Even today i was discovering new orchids on display and interacting with more people, including familiar faces - the man who helped me charge my old camera batter the second day called me by name when he saw me sitting on the floor and he brought me a cuppa.
This is out of hundreds of people. I mean there are three or 4 conferences simultaneously on each of 2-3 floors of this venue. Thousands.
Also Benjamin the Singapore teacher I had lunch with called me over to lunch with him again today.
Highlight of today in fact not even the show and conference lectures but my walk in the Flower Dome were we had the banquet the other night. Had no idea then of the scale of it. I walked over the road at 4 stories above, into the amazing hotel - it looks like 3 paper clips pulled apart, standing together and joined at the top, 57 stories high. Out the other side and into the huge new Gardens by the Bay - it has been opened for this week only, in conjunction with the WOC, then closes till completed in June.
RW told me to look out for the condo complex he lives in, in the distance when I cross down into the gardens, looks very flash.
Free entrance for WOC people into the Dome itself and I'll have to tell you more later.
Tomorrow I have the morning WOC tour of the botanic gardens and then back to the hotel and then off to the airport.
So what's your news? Any of my vegies still alive?
Better go, thinking of you and looking forward to your news in the 'comments'??
