one step at a time-my life in a backpack Ok where to start? Well I'm 23 an aussie and after years of talking about doing this travel thing I have set off on my way. The idea is to see the uk and europe (highly original I know) But since I set out here I just don't know where to stop!! I believe the travel bug may just have bitten me! But really you only live once and why not see everything. Life should be about happiness and experiences not stress and misery! Well at least thats what I want!

No sleep for me

Where to start oh my god welcome to backpacking I think! The Hostel I stayed with looks great from the outside but in the dorms it's the worst I have seen so far! The beds don't seem at all stable it's a 20 person share and the blanket if you can call it that looks like it went through the first world war! Oh well least it was only one night. Then I find out the ferry is delayed and I have a 10 hour wait till the next one! Which means I have lost my hostel money for that night! Grrrr.. So any way with all my stuff I stick it out and catch the ferry get to Holyhead at 12am and catch the train to Victoria at 1am so I arrive at London at 7:30 am. Looking back now it really wasn't a drama but at the time it felt like it slightly. I organised my bus to bath and left London at 9 for my 3 hour bus drive completly exhusted! Any way enough complaining Bath is soo cool the people are nice and the town is so beautiful!! I can't wait to go to stone henge and bath abbey etc... wish me luck

Oh and by the way I went to the Guinness factory very cool place and I enjoyed my pint at the end!! So there is something good about that day!
