one step at a time-my life in a backpack Ok where to start? Well I'm 23 an aussie and after years of talking about doing this travel thing I have set off on my way. The idea is to see the uk and europe (highly original I know) But since I set out here I just don't know where to stop!! I believe the travel bug may just have bitten me! But really you only live once and why not see everything. Life should be about happiness and experiences not stress and misery! Well at least thats what I want!

The shamrocker part 3

IRELAND | Wednesday, 7 March 2007 | Views [241]

Today we headed off towards the cliffs of moher and it was raining and blowing like a gail. I now offically have the flu and all I really want to do is go to bed. However I might only be here once so I have told myself to get over it but I can't help but shudder at the thought of getting soaking wet all day. We get to the cliffs and even our bus is being knocked around by the wind. We are all afraid and so are the tour leaders I think. I make a run for it which is pretty hard as the wind is actually pushing me back. Even through the awful weather it is cool the view is amazing even if it's becoming a little life threatening. To put it simply the wind pushed me down three stairs, made some of the guys pants fall down and picked my friend renae up and threw her across the ground!! (she has the scars to prove it) I held on to the wall and hoped like hell I didn't get the same treatment. Schultzy had his eyebrow ring puhed in due to the wind pushing a rock into it Carzy crazy day! Great fun though when we were all inside safe and sound!!  We stayed the night in Doolin which is a cool little town and saw a cool little grave yard with a ruin church and just took it easy.
