Zambia part two

AUSTRALIA | Thursday, 13 October 2016 | Views [348]

After our adventerous day yesterday we decided to thank God we were stll alive and headed off to the David Livingstone memorial baptist church...although the service ran a little longer than we expected (4hrs!), it was an amazing experience. The singing, dancing and praying, all at the same time was magnificent! Pastor Tambo gave a long, loud but very entertaining and humourous sermon....he was so loud Margaret had to step outside to stop her ears from bleeding! We were very honoured guest and the entire congregation shook our hands after the service....definitely a once in a lifetime experience. After that uplifting experience we braved the markets where the haggling was ver odd....kind of like reverse bartering...they ask u what u want to pay...the whole thing was exhausting and we gave up half way down the line of stalls. After the stress of that we treated ourselves to a lovely dinner of crocodile bites, kudu and impala burgers. After a good nights sleep we left Zambia the following morning...after some well needed shopping...on our way to Namibia!
