I'm still in australia, but I went away to The Dreaming festival for 4 days of wet cold camping, aboriginal and world indigenous, traditional and contemporary performances, films, workshops, dance, etc. It was good though the weather was not, until the last day, and it was typical splendiforous. However, one of the highlights had nothing to do with the meaning of the festival, but that one of the stall holders, of Argentinan/German descent had brought a satellite dish and tv so he could watch the world cup, and on the last night, there was tent full of bundled up soccer fans watching Australia win their first ever World Cup match. It was my first time to be in the crowd of sports fans, and it was so fun. I was looking for STeve and Marls in the audience, and we were texting each other, but didn't get a glimpse of our guys in Kaiserslauten. so, steve & marley missed the last train out of Kaiserslautten that night and were rescued by a friendly Aussie/Ecuadoran who *some text missing Thats what keeps happening with most of my text messages from them the last few days, the ol' *some text missing message. I will have to ask Steve to send the exciting bits of the message first. thats it. I am just tieing up lose ends for the next two weeks
