Walking around, you won’t find any new graves after 1938 – the year of the occupation and annexation of Austria into Nazi Germany.

The members of this Jewish community were very often well-respected people, intellectuals or doctors.

Today the Jewish cemetery is completely overgrown. In contrast to the Catholic part of the cemetery, there are hardly any visitors at the Jewish part. An own ecological system has developed. Here you can find deer, rabbits, pheasants and foxes.
