    Under a gravestone, I found this little family of weasel. They were not very shy and just waiting for me to disappear. by: martaeng Views[335] Today the Jewish cemetery is completely overgrown. In contrast to the Catholic part of the cemetery, there are hardly any visitors at the Jewish part. An own ecological system has developed. Here you can find deer, rabbits, pheasants and foxes. by: martaeng Views[288] Walking around, you won’t find any new graves after 1938 – the year of the occupation and annexation of Austria into Nazi Germany. by: martaeng Views[254] The members of this Jewish community were very often well-respected people, intellectuals or doctors. by: martaeng Views[263] The old Jewish cemetery is part of the Central Cemetery of Vienna.
