    Views[381] We've all thought about doing it, well this person has done it. For parking and toll avoidance just add dummy wife and child and of course a Lonely Planet guide!     Welcome home (to our place in Prague - no, we don't live in this car!). Finally we received our white Christmas, even if it came 3 days late, and melted 6 hours later! Views[628] Returning home - through fields of white-dusted forests in the Austrian countryside. Views[592] Talk about sitting on the fence, or hedging your bets, or being in two places at once! Views[485] A day-trip to the famous Lake Bled. Curiously the Slovenian border with Italy passes by the train station about 2.73m away.     This man sells... goats cheese. Just look at his shirt. You'll find him high up in the mountains above Vipava. Well-worth the drive on icy roads and braving the blizzard that just happened to arrive on cue. Views[436] A visit to Anja's aunt wouldn't have been complete without her demonstration of traditional patterned lace-making... Views[345] ... while we sat in a room full of stuffed animals...     One of the many natural springs in Vipava that happen to miraculously appear out of nowhere, especially sprouting out of the side of a mountain - this one is the coldest spring in Slovenia. Views[517] The main course of Christmas Eve dinner. Traditional cabbage rolls stuffed with spicy mince ('sarma'). Needless to say, Brett went back for seconds, and thirds, and.... was hurting for the rest of the night. FYI, Brett is turning into a real wog where food is concerned! (Ivan would be proud!).     By this time of year this landscape should be completely covered in snow. Where's the winter? What's happening to the world out there?
