You want good news? I'm sure you do....after over a month of bad news I'm sure you're probably dying for some good news.
Well good news.
I've got some good news.
The following is from Caitlyn Smith. Who, as far as I'm concerned at this point, is an angel.
Hi Guys,
I hope that you're all well and settling into Australian life without any dramas! In the past few days, I have been working on getting travel concession for those of you who came through USAC. I have prepared each of you a letter that states that you have come to Deakin University as an Exchange student. If you would like to apply for the concession card, please take this letter, along with the application form (available from Deakin Central) to your closest train station.
For those of you based at Burwood, please come and see me up on level 5 in building la and I will give you your letter. For those of you at Geelong, you can collect them from Deborah Scarce next week.
If you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Have a great holiday!
Best wishes and happy Easter,
Caitlyn
I'm officially throwing myself a little celebration party right now.
I cracked open a coke and, lets be honest, almost cried out of happiness.
It's not even the MONEY at this point. It's the sole fact that something has gone right.
