My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My first sight with photography was in 2006, while having one long talk with a dear friend. He wasn't a photographer, but he told me about an amazing photo he loved. It was a certain angle and view horse running taken photo, story shaped later in my imagination and determining me to first touch a camera.
I love travelling, but who doesn't? I always wished to know, communicate, talk, listen and learn from people's experiences. When I started taking people photos, I found it hard getting closer, making them feel comfortable with my camera or being photographed. I don't think I was even trying any approach, as I was expecting them to be pleased and sometimes got frustrated with them hardly colaborating. In time, I got more interested in discussions and less in taking photos, as I got carried away and forgotten I even had the camera with me.
Last few years I went to different workshops and read lots of documentation on the topic. Further more, I have viewed and studied great photographers images, but never had the opportunity in taking classes from them. This workshop would definatelly improve my photography perspective and taken me to next level.
